True Princess

We were on the train tonight, coming home from dinner with friends. We had stopped at a noodle house so Princess could get some stir-fry, her favorite thing. It smelled sooooo good. The train was packed, and we sat next to an often-unemployeed actor, who struck up a conversation with us. Nice, older gentleman who was pleased to tell us (3 times) that he'd had a shave today! By the time we got off the train, it was obvious he was pretty poor (tho clean) and quite hungry. Before stepping off the train, Princess gave her food to the man, so he'd have something to eat tonight. She assured him she wanted him to have it, she could get more another time. I thought he was going to cry. What a sweet kid she can be!!!
